Sometimes I just want to go back to the past
And change everything
But the past is the past
If you can't except me for me now
Then there ain't no point of trying
I have tried my best to prove to you
That I have changed
But like any good that did
I see there is no future for you and me
You may be a good friend
Maybe that's all you will ever be to me
I have poured myself out to you
Telling you how I feel about you
But that didn't do any good
Sometimes I wonder
If love was meant for me
Or someone good like you
You may mean everything to me
But to you
I was just something from the past
That you won't even give me another chance
But that is alright
As of now
I won't ever again tell you how I feel about you
I love you
I'm in love with you
That; s all I can really say
But if friends is what you want to be
Then so be it
I'm done trying
As I see
You don't want me
So ain't no need of pouring myself out to you
I'm sorry for telling you how I feel
You do own the key to my heart
And forever that will remain
I wanted another go
But you wanted a no go
So tell me
Do i just need to completely give up?
