Sometimes it's time to move on,
away from the hurt you've delivered
despite the gold ribbon
your intentions were wrapped in,
how you'll miss this gift
left behind in rue.

Sometimes we just have to say goodbye,
while the gift can still be treasured
by one who can untie the ribbon
without a wrinkle, so effortlessly,
for a lifetime of mutual happiness.
For when you possess absolute Love,
you want the best for them, always...
even if it means letting them go,
to be whole again, feel love pass their breath,
but only because they deserve it.

Sometimes you have to come to the realization
that to Love someone may not be enough
when the soul supersedes the body, the heart.

Sometimes, Love is just like that... sometimes.
