When I finally got a pen
I forgot what the words were

But at a moment notice, I let go
LeeAnn, I can totally relate to this poem. Memory loss is so frustrating with creativity. What I do now with your scenario is try to remember that poem. If I can't, I immediately write another one. And I feel good afterwards!
It happens to all writers I guess. The heart is full but you can't write a word. Nice thought!

One of my worst feelings LeeAnn! I often do this. Thanks for sharing x
I hate it when that happens! This poem is so relatable. Thanks for sharing, LeeAnn.
When you have the pen, words do not emerge. Wow! LeeAnn, loved this crispy, delightful poem......10
This is a fact. When the plate full of food is before you, you cannot eat.

I would like to translate this poem
"Words are Such Perfect Traitors" is what our fellow-poet Bharati Nayak has named her first collection of poems. And she is true!
Sincere thx for sharing that, Poet Menon. She's one of my favourites!
