Song Of Loneliness Poem by Stanley Onome Oyibode

Song Of Loneliness

Suddenly I became calm,
Suddenly my mind flipped
Through the pages of my past
Even in the mid of my endless noise
I feel lonely.

Suddenly my world became a graveyard.
The life in me went on break,
Rain falling through my eyes,
Even in the lifeless look of my eyes.

Suddenly I became lonely
My face gave a shallow smile,
My lips were dancing
Trying to force a word.

Suddenly in a low voice,
I heard the person in me
Saying ‘I miss you mother'
Till the giver of life open my page.
