Song Of Time (Sonnet) Poem by Daniel Reurink

Song Of Time (Sonnet)

Rating: 3.5

the song of time reflected in my line
deep down in the dead center of Zion
is nothing, is everything, something parts
an energy arising that shows signs
and lives within the soul that always starts
each song we muse the daemon breaks apart
splicing each atom into a full whole
together, whenever we sing this song
that meets the fin deep within the void's soul
were captured dark matter creates the hole
that pulled in through sin each day brings along
a silent retreat, Zen, a golden bowl
that time in time reflects the true test long
were each a day this myth of my own play
stays inside yet is relearned by the way
follow the Tao, and nothing will save you
