This plaintiff a shepherd, truly unlettered
Unschooled, untaught, scarcely ever read
In such a state, as can't say left from right
Yet knows what it takes to end a suit
In patience did he wait for summers four
In no way gets a remedy at all score
Puts he faith in this court and justice
Hath he none but law as accomplice
If poor men fail to get their due
Then providence intervene for a fair view
The opponent plays a dodging delay game
Whom should this litigant stoutly blame?
Let this court end the matter's continuity
Pray ensure the litigation not an eternity.
