A surgeon taught his pupils well all day;
His students learnt the craft from him aright;
He showed them how the craft turns art, his way;
He made them surgeons everyone, all bright.
He was so simple, punctual gentleman;
His role was model to his successors;
He was a knowledgeable, wise a man;
Envy could have filled his predecessors!
He loved to teach and train the youth by art;
He showed the world that greatness comes through toil;
Time came for him in old age to depart;
The tree that sprung from soil, returned to soil.
The surgeon was exemplary all life;
He took the world by surprise with his knife!
Lovingly dedicated to (Late) Dr. Prof. Nithyanandham M.S.,
