Sonnet: All Is Well For The Upright Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: All Is Well For The Upright

Rating: 5.0

The righteous man need not fear anything;
His path is leveled: freed from stones and thorns;
He walks with ease: undaunted like a king;
He sleeps by nights and travels by all morns.

With Hope in heart, he journeys until dark;
God leads him through untrodden ground safely;
And every day, he reaches a new mark;
He walks and runs if need be, so bravely!

And wilderness can’t frighten him a bit;
God’s protective mantle enshrouds his life;
His body, mind and heart are always fit;
He gets success, despite problems and strife.

With soul all pure, he’s ready to Death woo;
His life on earth is exemplary too.
