Sonnet: God In My Life Today Poem by Dr John Celes

Almighty God rescued me from a place,
Which was a former heaven, but now hell,
And put me in another town with face
Alit, with smiles, to keep me always well.

May be, the newer one isn’t optimum;
God lays the road ahead for me to walk;
Nevertheless, it is one quite welcome;
The Holy Spirit helps me do the talk.

God does the spade-work all, where-ev’r I go;
He loves His sheep which listen to His voice;
He helps me lead a righteous life and sow
Good seed in soil that’s good, and then rejoice.

My loving God takes care of me so much;
My life on earth goes on by divine touch.

Lovingly dedicated to my loving family
Wife and two dear daughters
