God hears our prayers said most fervently;
God knows our hearts tho’ desperate we be;
God deals with evil men most patiently,
And looks after His righteous ones, gently.
Man thinks he can do almost anything;
He sins in thought and word and deed, each day;
And man just thinks that he is but a king!
God watches him each moment in His way.
God loves his creatures, more so if ’tis man;
He wants all souls to come to him all clean;
With great mercy, He holds the divine pan;
Though God is stern, He never can be mean.
He waits for sinner to open his heart;
Ask mercy/ repent- He will do His part.
