Sonnet: God's Words Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: God's Words

Rating: 5.0

Believe in Jesus Christ, receiving joys;
The Almighty bestows grace in excess!
No more devils can use us as their toys.
The Word of God bestows true happiness.

Dispelling darkness, lighting life’s alleys,
The Word of God miraculously guides;
Have faith in Jesus Christ and He gives peace;
The righteous soul in Maker’s codes abides.

You cannot serve two masters- satan, God;
The Word of God will protect us from harm;
Devils rejoice when we receive God’s rod;
Scriptures provide souls God’s forgiveness-Balm!

Follow the Word of God in life on earth,
And realize the advantages / worth!

It is wonderful to know that God's Word is infinite. By Those Words we live, and by those Words we die. To hear His still, small Voice gives us comfort even on the darkest day. A very wise and timely sonnet. Well said, Dr.Celes
