Sonnet I Poem by Samya Bose

Sonnet I

You are in every thought that I think;
Like a celestial nymph haunting me in dreams,
You remain so tantalizing with your gleams,
Though last unto I awake and blink.
I can feel myself rushing towards the sink
As your heavenly serene image seems,
And in pursuit of that glow which never dims,
To the rest I can hardly link.

But when your smile flashes upon the inward eye,
It feels like worth being in love
As it feels like I'm flying above.
From where everything looks dull and futile
But your smile, so pure and little shy,
That beacons my darkness keeping me agile.
