In pomp and show, the modern world believes!
What glitter marks the functions that we see!
What wasteful lives are spent by Adams/ Eves!
And people speak such white lies blatantly.
And stocking wealth by any means is prime;
Benami transactions are also rife;
And hiding it in many ways past-time!
Accruing more wealth, man spends all his life.
But how much more can receiving hands hold?
If health of mind and body seems all lost;
There is no cure for recurrent chest-cold!
Into a sea of discontent, man’s tossed.
And not a nickel does he take with him;
Nor can he spend or enjoy with eyes dim.
