You search within yourself, O man, Earthling! See what you are and what you ought to be; Work for the penny, forget the shilling; Look to your soul’s and body’s health rightly.
The world is crazy gone in its approach; There is no sense or sensibility; So, shed your vices all ’fore God’s reproach; And work with zeal towards Eternity.
This world- a wasteland can turn paradise; O Man, atone and turn into new leaf! O listen to the great prophet’s advice; And toil harder for harvest of the sheaf. Ignore the river all turns so briny; Ignore the Lord and hell’s your destiny!
Dr John Celes
