Sonnet On Who I Love (Drunk) Poem by Josh Brabender

Sonnet On Who I Love (Drunk)

How I'd find it grand to write
A poem to one that I hold dear
But a poem like that is out of sight
Because I have no one like that I fear.

If I did, I'd write of my love
For her and how she makes me feel.
I'd compare her beauty to that of a dove.
And with this poem, her heart I'd steal.

Since I can't write it, all I can do
Is write of how I'd write of her.
And how it would make her fall for me too.
It would be a great poem sure.

And since I do not love someone dear,
I'll just continue to love my beer.
