Sonnet: So, Change Your Heart Right Now Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: So, Change Your Heart Right Now

You cannot have your sinful friends for long;
You cannot be both good and bad forev’r;
You cannot sing all life, a joyful song;
You cannot ignore God as your Master.

Your worldly wisdom cannot save your soul;
You cannot sin for long without God’s fear;
Just heed your conscience; change your earthly role,
And change your heart right now, my brother dear.

God’s patience may not last for next moment;
The Maker’s rod may come upon you soon;
Give up your sinful habits and repent;
Not far off is your night without a moon!

Remember man, your soul needs care today;
Atone; repent; amend your life this day.

We must strive to live the philosophy that although it may be Mind healthy to look forward to a new day coming, that we must employ Todays actions with a Heart that asumes no Tomorrow.Great Work, my friend, as always! P.S.>Someone who failed to practice the above tossed a 3 on you...Re-set your vote-box...i'll come back later and rate this piece far more accurately. ~ FjcR ~
