Sonnet: Solum Vow Poem by Darryn John Murphy

Sonnet: Solum Vow

The moon was high
And the stars shone bright
Was there hope hidden in the night
As I watched the stars glisten in the light
Solemn vow that thou has made
Before the light of day
Thou has known thy gentle nature
Thou splinted hand thy heart is twain
And yet you feel an ounce of pain
That thou has made with acid rain
Thou will be known, as thou art not
Even if we had known thy masters plan
Thou have breathed the morning breeze
And watched as the leaves fall form the trees
