Sonnet: World ‘no Tobacco' Day (Kfmsr Cbe) Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: World ‘no Tobacco' Day (Kfmsr Cbe)

Why flood your lungs with leafy smoke that kills?
Why spread more carcinogens in the air?
Why smoke tobacco that increases bills?
Why play with life in ways very unfair?

Tobacco smoke can kill the smoker fast;
Tobacco causes cancer in much ways;
Tobacco in the body will long last;
Why shorten life-span, quality of days?

Two lungs are meant to breathe in air afresh;
Already air is polluted enough;
You cannot live in chambers, staying fresh;
The smoker coughs all life, and cannot laugh!

Give up your smoking habit now, today;
No vice can make us better in life's way!
