Sorrows and Rejoicings

Here I come amidst tears and joy
From a journey so unpredictable
That keeps might men on fright
With their fingers kept crossed
Having been sought for seasons.

'Will this home be enough for him,
Remembering the dos and don'ts! '
As he comes from his kindren afar!
The kill-joy of the careless and leal
Two worlds apart that must close.

Nothing seems enticing thereof:
The mud, the wall cracks and mats
All are testimonies of poverty
Yet held vigil to invit' the messiah
What an agony of the lack!
'If only for this reason, I will stay! '

'A hero shall he be' the oracle said,
'But when'll his nuts be cracked? '
The mama enquired in earnest
Only to expose the king to haters
'Soonest, when he is of age' finish!

The message made him struggle
Like chains of caterpillar, fastened
An enemy has done this unawares
Thus seekin' the wise men of time
As contempt has tied him aground

Men with inner eyes see markings,
She with outer eyes see indolence
But that woman has gone beyond
Leaving a king to beg from subject
Carlous cries compound cold crisis.

I challenged fate to tell the truth
Taking time to battle the wind
For I desire my record not theirs.
The living sacrifice was paid once
To atone a dent tipped by haters.

Like a lightening plane I rolled in,
Breaking through like balls of fire.
'How fast story becmes history
The superman in him is yet alive'
This replaces the songs of Babylon

My records strike like thunder
I bloom where not even planted
Father divine has done this! Yes!
Vindicating me from adversaries
To replace my happines with joy!

I see a new world wit' bright light
An exodus to number the levites
Where the 'chronicles' will gnaw
For the wickedness of the past
Indeed, I came; I saw; I conquer!
