We encourage each other to attain personal goals,
I see my beloved as an extension of self, a blending
without fear of loss of self.
I see him as a friend who can be trusted, depended on
and enjoyed.
We are not defined by length of time, but by quality of caring,
a healthy mutual exchange.
We are each others home for the soul.
A place to be ourselves to explore deeply and safely our hopes,
fears and joys.
