Space In This Crowded Church-Yard Poem by Amar Agarwala

Space In This Crowded Church-Yard

Rating: 5.0

Shall find some space upon this yard
It is just a matter of days,
The inmates here will give no room
For they are stubborn in their ways.

Fit in here is a task I must
Though I have not the faintest clue,
Of how on earth could that be done
But do know I am stubborn too.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
ELEGIES

This is the thirteenth poetry from my anthology of poetry titled - ELEGIES, which was launched at the Bhowanipore Cemetery on the 11th November, also known as 'Remembrance Day'. This anthology has eighty-eight poems, which are all dark poems. Also, it is the first time in the history of English Literature that an anthology of this genre has been published in association with a Cemetery Board, launched in a Cemetery. Besides, it is also the first time that work in this genre in the English language has been done by an Indian poet.
