Speaking Symbols Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

Speaking Symbols

In a place where you live
Signs and symbols
On the walls hanging on
Perhaps, in a box sitting on
A mirror of living beings
Will look at you once

See how the authority speaks
Through the beauty superimposed
While the wisdom is somewhere aside
A tiny light perhaps
To find any other adjectives
Visit two three times
But haste not to take a measurement
May be all are misled
