Spinning Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Spinning

We were spinning
we’ve no choice
the Earth’s lights are out.

We were spinning
our story’s out
keep quiet, listen closely.

We were spinning
stop thinking
we’re getting there.

We were spinning
wait ‘til we stop
just hold on.

I was spinning
I can’t remember;
have we found our way?

You spun me around
the lights came back on
I couldn’t find my way back.
