Spiraling Down To Infinity Poem by Robert Hilary

Spiraling down into infinity. Falling endlessly., as the pink cotton candy clouds pass me by. Looking down before me, to the end that surely awaits, I contemplate my oblivion. All that begins must end so that it may begin again. And suddenly an epiphany strikes me. one i have realized many times before. I'm simply returning to that from which i have come. falling into the arms of the earth i find rest on solid ground. from which i will jump into the heavens once more. and fall once again to my sweet oblivion.
