Spring Poem by Adrian Taheny

Spring

Cows cower in hedge rows
And new lambs leap innocently.
Out of the depths of winter, awaken,
With every blooming thing.
A sleepy countryside caringly
Carries the weary and rejuvenates.
A small JCB bows its head, lazily,
At the end of this day.
Great expectations, a renewal of hope.
An appreciation of being a part of nature
Comes from deep within. Hopefully,
Despite loss and pain, we begin again.
