Spring Giving Poem by Daniel Miltz

Spring Giving

The world that seemed, so dull and cold
Has come alive, again, behold
Little did we all know, and found
That beneath, the cold harden ground
Flowering plants and trees withdrawn
Preparing for a new day dawn

Spring with many flowery seeds
Lay a dormant, for months proceeds
Tentatively, poke their heads through
The warming earth in fullest view
Burst into full bloom refuel
Spring time, rebirth and renewal

Spring gives hope for rejuv'nation
As well as imagination
On threshold, of a blooming spring
A quiet, awakening bring
To reinvent, truly, our lives
We find ourselves, as living gives
