Spring's On The Way Poem by Ray Hansell

Spring's On The Way

I walked outside
To greet the day
I could see
Spring was on it's way

The flowers were blooming
The trees had their leaves
The morning was cooled
By a light spring breeze

As I walked along I'd see
So many people out doors
The winter thaw is finally here
We could not ask for more

So very soon I know we'll see
The signs of summer will be near
The days will be sunny and warm
While the nights will be so clear
