Spurned Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Spurned

Each day you find
New ways to maul me
I ache for love
But yet you refuse me

I haven't space in my heart
For anyone else anymore
Its filled with only you
For evermore

Come back I ask
For this heart is weak
It is now really bleak
Only you does it seek

No more pretence
No more games
I beseech you
Give up the new dames

They would you only
Momentarily delight
You would then again
be looking for new light

Tarry awhile and seek within
Whose heart is it that is beating in
Whose heart was given to you eons ago
Tis sin to ask for more

She has given you her whole life
And now that she's old
You leave her to die?
For shame, this life is now a lie

No one to trust anymore
Once more I sit all alone
I thought twas a promise for evermore
But ever is just a few seconds more

The Lord did promise each damsel a knight
Each gaping wound in the heart now cries
No more will I let out a cry
Why O Lord? Why? Why?
