St Kabeer's Couplets On Experience: 50 Blind's Bride, For Whom Would She Groom? Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

St Kabeer's Couplets On Experience: 50 Blind's Bride, For Whom Would She Groom?

Rating: 5.0

A wise were to show a way out
One'd find it fair to think about.
But a blind's bride, for whom
And for what would she groom?

Given below is the original couplet in Hindi along with its translireation in English Roman.

ज्ञानी युक्ति सुनाईया, को सुनि करै विचार,
सूरदास की स्त्री, का पर करै सिंगार।
Jñānī yukti sunāiyā, ko suni karai vichār,
Sūradās kī strī, kā par karai singār.

If a man of knowledge were to show the path, a way out, one may deliberate upon what he said. But tell me, for whom or for what the wife of a blind would groom herself— wear ornaments or good clothes?

so; wisdom is the beautiful ornaments and good cloths of conjugal life where true wisdom is existed there is no need the ornaments and good cloths to exhibit
