We change our moral position
To accommodate our behavior
Brought about by lust and desire
Driven by passion and ambition,
We falter and go off course
Desist from living out our lives
To reflect the cultivation within
And succumb to such hasty actions
That may indeed deliver in the now
But leave vestiges of eternal conflict

But the knowledge of His sovereignty
Brings us hope and stability each time
In this crucible of refinement that
In our pain, disappointment and loss,
And despite pressure to the contrary
We remain confident in His presence
Our integrity remain uncompromised
And our lives in Christ fully attested
We mount up, take the higher ground
In our daily dealings, each situation
