Starling Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Starling

Starling

On grass, by trees
-busy was starling
-both hopping
-and searching
-then digging.

The scene was a movie
-far better than TV.

A long worm, suddenly
-was curling, uncurling
-half in air and partly
-in the hole of mining
-for copper starling…

The feathered took its time
-I stood, observed, watched
-while deeply caught in thought
-of hunter and the hunt:
- "Where can bird accommodate
-this worm that is twice
-longer than its own size? "

Miracle is nature
-does it have creator?
