Starry Night Poem by Felipe Gastão

Starry Night

I have a light sleep. Any noise, even those of a feather that falls on the asphalt wakes me up. I wake up startled by the clamor of the world. 'Don´t leave me, I beg you' 'I will be no more your friend, do not expect any calls, you are not funny', 'I will not kiss you, i only kiss normal people', 'If you love me, please kill me ', 'You are a great professional, but do not fit our requirements, you are a genius', 'Sorry, but my book 'Etiquette for a batter life ' does not recommend me to talk to any people of your sort', 'Your love is damned, will never blossom.' ' Sorry, but your situation is beyond the law, I cannot help you; But i may die; Sorry, it is not me, it is the law. Can´t you brake the law? No, we should obey them to have a great society.', You offended me, you bought good clothing and found a lover ' Sorry, but I will never trust you again, you are not rational and sane, you did not adulate me, after trying to kill yourself', 'Sleep, baby, so that the hunger passes', 'You are disgusting, you want to live wealthier than me, your father ', ' I will not spend a penny with you, you are not sane, you diffamate me when I help you; But father, an insane person end up in the streets, without the unconditional love of a father, if you are not willing to help me, who will? ' I can neatly hear those chatter, when I hear the word 'sorry', i get frightened. I go by the window, look down, I see a beggar with a numb look of relief. I look up, and there are my pleasant friends, the stars, which calm down my solitude. Hopeful, I am delighted with the assombrous number of heavens there might be in this universe. Listening to the deaf cry of humans, I yell at the stars´resindents to come, and pick me up. I would like so much to know another civilization, other pains and joys, . Can my voice cross distances of light-years? I do not believe that the stars are so far from us, as the scientists say.Where there might be peace? I wonder. Maybe in that more cleared, or in that most scintillating star? Where is residence of God? Does my favorite star no longer exist? Whem are they to come? I usually ask for a signal to my guardian angel. He gave it to me once, when I finally cried, after decades without spilling a tear, for considering myself a bad guy. A fine-shooting star fell. Then I asked for those who pass anonymously in the world, and leave no traces. I Asked for the mad abandoned in filthy sanatoriums, who scream at night, thinking the death to be watching. I asked for solitary confined in poor rooms with views to any grizzly wall. I asked for the unfortunate who ask for money in the street so that they can be dulled. I asked for those who do not have faith and continue due to the fear of death. I asked for the separated, who losetheir souls with the departure of their lover. I asked for those who only know to love disrespecting the divine laws. I asked for the beautiful and hipergifted people, who live like lonely islands between mediocrity. I asked for those who numb themselves so as not to die, but end up dying in life. I asked for the ones who rebeled against the cruelty of God, and sough the Devil. Or by those who praise His designs and resign to misery. I asked for those who are condemned to death, and know the exact date and time of the end. I asked for the wretched of the world who in pilgrimages, goggle their wet eyes, raise their hands to heaven and ask for clemency. I asked for those who depend on their torturers and learn how to love the pain. I asked for myself.
