You probably were a bully,
Who never did well in school,
Stole other kid’s lunch money,
And thought it was really cool.
And now you’ve moved on,
To stealing other’s work and time,
All without a hint of remorse,
As if it’s not even a real crime.
I’d like to think people like you,
Deserve a special place in Hell,
For when you steal an author’s work,
You steal a piece of them as well.
So now I’m going to dare you,
To try and steal this poem,
Post it on another site,
And try to call it your own.
And if you think you can do it,
And never will get caught,
The only thing I can say to you,
Is you’re dumber than I thought.
04-22-11.
Alan you write beautifully when you get angry. Do your eyes sparkle? By he way for the record do you pronounce your name YON-KOFF-SKI? or JOHN-KOFF-SKI? (I know, I know, you pronounce it Alan) ta Old Dad
Actually, I pronounce it more like Jan-Cow-Ski...very American, as I was born in Perth Amboy, NJ...it should say here on my profile page btw...and thanks for the compliment, I think anyway...
Excellent! I hope there are not many bullies here. I hive you a 10.
I just did a search to see if any poems had a title like mine- -boy, not many responses, here... Your poem isn't half-bad; it's pretty good, in fact- -so why hasn't anyone responded? How long ago was this posted? I've only been on here a few weeks, so I don't know if comments are supposed to dribble in over ten years or flood you all at once. This poem should be getting comments- -it's amusing and poignant and written better than most. I will check out some of your other stuff, later, and no, I won't steal it. lol
It was written in 2011 in response to the tremendous amount of plagiarism going on, and quite a few of my poems have been stolen in the past few years, but I guess I only posted it here a few months ago...it looks like May 6,2015...anyway, thanks for stopping by...and glad you like it...
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
I usually check my name on line.Maybe I had better look for my poems...
