Hey Gordon Brown I’ve got something to say
Your stealth taxes are crippling the country today
You think that you’re smart by pillaging the workers
Collecting your taxes and paying out shirkers
You inherited a comfortable working class Britain
Let me tell you there’s nothing like a working class smitten
The good folk of Britain have less day by day
It seems you’re detached and have lost your way
It’s a fact we have less and less disposable income
All we seem to do is pay tax on tax and then some
New Labour’s arrived I hear Tony say
More like Labour of old, spend and tax peoples pay
People are working harder to make ends meet
Whilst you have a smug look sitting there in your seat
I suggest you take note and then start to listen
Otherwise you and your party will not be running Britain
