Still-Leben Poem by Peter Russell

Still-Leben

Rose-pot in the window water roses
White daughter of dew-dawn sleep-not

Cry in the wind leap

Lawn
Heaving with earth-worms

Sinned
Trace the wind to n-dot terms
Ant
walking around the ball
You won't arrive
you can't

Strive
Upwards from molecules to Mars

That's all

Lines have no ends and no beginnings mark
Your progress from the dark

Roses
water
flower-vase
