Stolen Treasure Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Stolen Treasure

What was I thinking when I stole a rose
What feelings in my heart arose

What was I thinking when I stole a rose
That it would not affect the plant so?

The flower brightened up my day
And I had so much to say

I failed to think the pain it caused
On I went on my way

Someone stole the rose from me
And now I know truly

The cheat the thief
Who I gave the key

Has stolen my treasure from me
This has ended so unexpectedly

I am sorry rose
I uprooted you

I am sorry rose
To the occasion I arose

I know your pain now
I shall return it to you

I will get it from the thief
The delay is only but brief

Sorry rose, I have been asleep
As womankind lost

We should have been united
And not let sin be true
