Stop Playing The Fool

Who is hiding from Heaven’s King?
Although you may not know
Rejecting salvation’s song to sing
While Satan’s way you go

Living, walking in gross deceit
With devils hand in hand
At Heaven’s call, you’ll swift retreat
Failing to understand

The devil keeps you blind my friend
At such tremendous cost
Today, until your shameful end
He’ll hold you deaf and lost

Or till you feel you’ve had your fill
You realise your fault
Hearing about salvation’s will
You understand to halt

To turn around, life’s truth to find
That Heaven has to tell
Those lost, deceived, like most mankind
Along death’s way to hell

You’ve seen the truth, the devil’s lies
How foolish, you have been
Till true love’s opened wide your eyes
And grace has come between

Now astute, now truly awake
You’ve seen what light reveals
Realising your bad mistake
You’ve quickly turned your heels

Praise God for Christ, for grace divine
Forgiveness true and real
Eternal life is yours and mine
With Jesus’ personal, seal …..
