Stop Trying Poem by Vanessa Parodia

Stop Trying

Sometimes it won't take
I know all your tricks
and all your ticks
I can spot a fake
You tried so hard
I gave you a chance
but I saw that glance
you played your card
I know you have hate
Its true we all do
but I am tired of you
controlling my fate
I have had to much
of this twisted game
stop shifting the blame
it can't be a crutch
Next time I'm there
I won't take any more
I will just close the door
I really don't care
