Stopping to…


Of Voltaire I have heard having said:
“I am in disagree
But still defend you get your rights.”

Up and down, in and out
Of fountains and the falls
Of cisterns and canals
One can see exchanges
Now with past
And now with, tomorrow.

If open with wisdom
Like Voltaire
One who lives in today’s Canada
Even if angry, must feel proud.

Many are like the sheep
Or snakes, or the rocks
Many have their heads in
As turtles in their shells

But many who have come
Asians, Middle East
And or else…
Come here and bring
What is gone and is lost

They bring care and help
They come with love, respect.

I enjoy when Chinese
Old, frail and shaking
Extend hand and give help,
To those who cannot handle...
