Strange Footprints And Strange Paths Poem by Ehsan Ehsan

Strange Footprints And Strange Paths

Strange Footprints AND Strange Paths
Strange foot prints and strange paths
Have been creating familiarity with my feet
The banks of my eyes have been overflowing
While I was sitting all alone lost in my thoughts
I don't know where all my friends
Have vanished leaving me all alone
I wished to sit in the shadow of your locks
But life has again placed distances between you and me
The hustles and bustles of your streets were alluring me
But this time and its needs clung to me feet
Your wistful eyes kept on looking towards me
But it was not in my fortune to go to their threshold
I had to lead a barren and lonely life
So it did not matter to be within home or outside
It was in the fate of the caravans to keep on traveling
And to get astray during their entire journey
Today Fortune had favored with a chance meeting with you
But suddenly again some strangers jumped in
Ehsan you were lost in yourself and in her thoughts
And the people kept on searching for you!
