Strongman Goliath Poem by Charles Karia

Strongman Goliath

To take the Philistines down,
David didn't kill all those in town.
He struck the famed strongman,
The rest of the enemy had to run.

Take the commander down,
And the city is yours to own,
The kingdom will have advanced,
A new city with no filth under God.

But the city must have a keeper,
Or the glory will again scatter,
Jesus must be the new lord,
Always enthroned for good.
