Structurally Unsound Poem by Daniel Brown

Structurally Unsound

Sometimes I think,
there's a part of me so broken,
That it's beyond repair.
A section built from atrophy,
Unspoken.
Forged inside despair.
So blocked and blacked out,
Beaten, bruised,
It's bent in seams unseen.
Nightly visits made to me,
Inside forgotten dreams.
Always digging deeper,
Delving down to try and find the rot.
Rip it out,
Remake the base,
Of a place I have forgot
