Struggle Poem by Ella Rose

Struggle

You've left me all by myself,
With no one and with my mind obsessing,
From hearing your irrational excuses.

You unraveled my dignity,
Shredded it in the bin,
I know you will remember me,
-as your constant struggle.

I tried my best, as best as I could,
You reminded once again,
Questions from misguided accusations.
Honest as I was, I will always be remembered,
-as your constant struggle.

Do you really believe I could destroy you?
I almost died when you said we were through.
My heart stopped beating,
My carotid artery started bleeding,
And after all that we've been through,
You will always see me,
-as your constant struggle.
