Stubborn And Bold Poem by Tammie Thrasher

Stubborn And Bold

I'm in love at 17 years old.
Am I stubborn or just bold?
I want to be with Tre,
Until my very last day.
Nobody understands,
But I want him to be my man.
I can't see me,
Without him in my dreams.
It's not up to y'all;
Not in your control at all.
I may be young,
But I promise I won't get stung.
Nobody knows what will happen,
But I'm positive we'll make it to the end.
I love that boy more than anything,
And I won't let anything come between.
I hope one day everyone can see,
I just know Tre is the one for me.
If anything does break us apart,
I'll lose my whole heart.
It's in God's hands,
And on mine, is a little silver band.
It represents trust, faith, belief, and forever love,
But that's what our relationship consists of.
I know we'll never fail
Because for each other, we'd walk through hell.
I can't wait to spend my life,
Being Tre Allen Winstead's wife.
I'm in love at 17 years old.
I've got a perfect hand to hold,
And yes, I think I'm stubborn AND bold.
