Stuck In My Own Mind

Stuck in the prison of my own mind
The only way out is thru time
Theres other things that hide in here
These other things only cause me fear
Theres ghosts and demons,
Emotions and feelings
And things that go bump in the nite

They make me commit all these sins
Every time and time again
It was as if i had no control
I just went with the flow
Did things against my will
had thoughts to kill
And it wasnt me

I had to make these demons leave
All they did was attack me
I made the ghosts disappear
They caused me no more fear
The emotions made me love, laugh, and live
The feelings made me actually wanna live
Then things started to change

My mind belonged to me again
I had rid myself of all the sin
I found the key to everything
It unlocked everything that belonged to me
I escaped my mind
Traveling thru time
And now have unlocked the secrets to my own mind

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
