Stupid Boy Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Stupid Boy

It’s a big city, with lots of people and crazy.
Just be a bit grayer, a bit bolder.
It’s 3am and it’s time for you to talk.
If you’re lonely and sad, just say it.
You’re a stupid boy, stop humming.
I feel just as misplaced as you are.
It’s sweet of you to pretend.
But save us the time and spill the beans.
My heart’s broken to pieces.
Your mind’s a mess.
You’re all I need, I’m all you need.
What are you waiting for, you stupid boy?
