I was thinking of you earlier today
Wondering what I would have to say
Because I knew, you would ask me for a poem
But I couldn’t find any I’d written at home
Therefore, I thought I’d to do my best
Or maybe give you a keyboarding test
However, you all have been so nice
I decided that maybe I ought to think twice
So I want to thank you for doing your best
And for today, you’re getting a rest
So save to your discs and we’ll head out doors
To get some fresh air to clean our pores
