  Matthew 18: 3
“Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children,
you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I never took that to literally mean
childish behavior was to something to be encouraged
or that by petty bickering we might beat
the quickest path to heaven

Love is everything

I think the key is actually in being 'converted' - not something we would be likely to do lightly these. As for childish behaviour - well, not all of it is naive or necessarily childish whereas innocence is the spirit and meaning of love...

Yes Love is what matters, the very idea of bickering among God's children must be abhorrent to Him.
