Summation Poem by Mgt Man

I thought the voices within were on my side
Always talking to me with no where to hide
And a wise friend told me something to contemplate
I thought long and hard, I had to concentrate
'When you find that one person who will make you complete
You better throw away those stones and feel your heart beat'
And sitting and thinking I wondered if it was my time
If I started caring and feeling would I still be fine?
Some how you found a way to break through my walls
And you are the only one there to catch me when I fall

So I made the decision to reject every scared emotion
And through devotion decided to set my life into motion
I broke the stone casing around my heart so it could beat
And we ended up making love, it was so sweet :)
I felt as though you were my only reason for living
Tried my best to understand and always be forgiving
Because all I could think of was how amazing we could be
A future where we could love each other and be free
Naïve thoughts of a perfect future together
Because I am sure there could never be anything better

And now I feel my life is going in a downward spiral
The love we had has quickly turned viral
And I want you now more than ever
But the signs you are sending are saying never
Too many wrong decisions have made me weak
My heart is slowly dying and my soul turning meek
Because the one thing I want is your loving devotion
But you are far to scared and afraid of commotion
It is okay though because you define my perfection
And I will cling to any signs of affection
