Summer And Winter
I can snuggle with the spring,
And dance with the fall
But when winter is her call,
I know I am up against a wall.
I am merely a summer’s evening
That will dissolve and disappear
When the first snow of the winter
Drapes her body with glittery lights
And Christmassy mural.
